The process of
spray painting your doors

Understanding that no two projects will be the same, our flexibility and vast range of knowledge allow us to deliver tailored services in a seamless three-stage process.

The initial consultation
During this stage, we will construct an approach that works for you. This could include having to remove the doors of your commercial lift so that they can be sprayed within our workshop or spraying a composite front door on your premises. We will then provide an accurate quotation before scheduling your door in for spray painting at a date and time that suits you.

The spray painting
Before going ahead with the spraying, thorough preparation will take place. We will prep your door by sanding and priming the surface to create the perfect base, and will sheet any surrounds if we’re spraying on your premises, creating a compact workplace that will deliver a tidy result. By use of our air-assisted or high-volume low-pressure sprayers, we will get to work on your doors, providing a professional finish that you will be proud of.

The curing period
Before your door is reinstalled or put back in use, it will need time to dry and cure fully so it can maintain its flawless finish. Doors sprayed within our workshop will be placed to dry in our ventilated facility, whilst those sprayed remotely on your premises will need to air dry. This process shouldn’t take longer than 24 hours, allowing you to put your flawless painted doors to use in no time.

Why choose us to
spray paint your door?

No matter the scale of a project, our consistent approach is always delivered with reliability, respect, and unrivalled knowledge. It’s no wonder so many of our customers return to work with us.

Door spray painting FAQs

Can you spray my aluminium bi-folding doors?

Yes, there are no limits to the doors we can spray coat. From uPVC patio doors and composite front doors, through to MDF interior doors and commercial lift doors – we can coat them all however you wish.

Can I purchase a paint and have you use it on the day of spraying?

We would suggest allowing us to source the paint. With our knowledge of substrates and their perfectly partnered coatings, we will be able to provide a paint that delivers the highest quality covering.

Can your paints be sprayed safely within my property?

Yes, we will use a water-based paint if we are spraying within your property as these are safe for residential use. As an extra measure, we will close internal doors and open windows to encourage ventilation whilst we’re working.
